Father God, let me now join with all of
heaven in interceding before Your gracious Throne. With, in, and
through Your Son Jesus Christ, I beseech You on behalf of those You
love in Lima, Ohio:
May the Holy Spirit convict and draw all those seeking the Truth in
Lima to the Orthodox Faith;
May their guardian angels guide them, by Your grace, to Your Apostolic
Church;
May the Archangel Michael battle for their souls in the spiritual realm;
May Saint Stephen and each of their patron saints --known or unknown--
fervently intercede for them;
and May the most blessed Theotokos pray with motherly boldness to her
Son and our God for Lima.
Lord God Almighty, Creator and Father of Lima's seekers of Truth: in
Your infinite love, bring them to the Faith, and form them into an
Orthodox Church pleasing to You. Draw the members of Saint Stephen's
closer to Christ, and closer to each other; Fashion them into a true
worshipping community, and unite them into a visible Body of Love.
Grant them a spirit of gentleness and patience, and perseverance in
doing good. Strengthen Saint Stephen's spiritually and financially,
increasing their faith and membership! Unite the separated, heal the
sick, shepherd, protect, and save all. Bless those who regularly
intercede for Lima: strengthen them, and remind them to pray. Hear our
prayer, O Lord, and establish Saint Stephen's, that together they may
glorify Your all honorable and majestic name: of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and forever, Amen!
